Reciprocating Tool and Holder
The reciprocating cutter uses an affordable disposable pneumatic reciprocating cutter (50-60hrs) with adjustable depth foot and is ideal for thicker material that cannot be cut with a drag or rolling blade. This is ideal for carpet, linoleum, and cardboard. The Reciprocator slides on your Y rail and is teathered to your multi-tool head. It uses a dedicated steered motor and requires switching the plug for your Z axis (older models may require custom wiring). Switching from standard magnetic tools to Reciprocator takes only a few minutes. The Reciprocator must be operated on a carpet/burma substrate. Cut Speed 2-4 IPS. Requires 5 CFM @ 20psi air compressor. Reciprocator disposable tool/ $75 each.
